Multidisciplinary farriery is part of the commitment to the "always learning" philosophy.  By servicing a diverse clientele, I see and learn many lessons that a single discipline farrier simply would not encounter, and each has a lesson to teach.  While the majority of customers are fox hunters, three day eventers, dressage, and endurance horses, I still have many walking horses, trail horses, companions, and retirees looking to be made more comfortable. 

From the office in Raleigh, I am able to serve clients in the following counties: Alamance, Caswell, Chatham, Durham, Franklin, Granville, Harnett, Johnston, Lee, Moore, Nash, Orange, Person, Vance Wake, and Warren Counties .

                                         

If you live outside this trade area, but would like to be considered for service by Shod Steed, please initiate contact.  These counties serve as a guideline.  I routinely travel and work with clients in Virginia and Western North Carolina.  If a reasonable business case can be made to do so, I will gladly provide service anywhere the road surface will support my truck.
